Chapter 09

Put your venue on the game map.
Drive real-world visits.

A verified real-world venue could become a visible NFTerra destination. Fund a local campaign with NFTerra currency or through a direct business agreement, then offer nearby players bounded XP boosts, better drop opportunities, encounters, or useful services.

From map visibility to real visits

Players see a destination. Your venue gains a new reason to walk in.

A partner campaign would turn a verified location into a clearly labeled point of interest in the world around nearby players.

  • Players could discover the venue on the map before deciding to travel there.
  • A useful local effect could encourage first visits, repeat visits, and activity during selected hours.
  • The business could define its audience, schedule, budget, and campaign goal within an approved catalogue.
  • Privacy-safe reporting could show eligible visits, participation, and campaign activity in aggregate.

Illustrative café campaign

A verified café appears as a Sponsored Hotspot on the map. During quiet afternoon hours it funds a healing well, a temporary XP-rate boost, and an improved chance of an approved healing-item drop for eligible players at the venue.

Two proposed funding routes

Use NFTerra currency or work with us directly.

A business could budget a campaign with the same currency that powers the game economy or purchase a managed campaign through a conventional business agreement.

Both routes fund a bounded campaign configuration. Neither route buys direct access to player accounts, guaranteed item issuance, completed experience, or hidden reward controls.

Game currency

Fund with NFTerra crypto

Allocate supported NFTerra currency to an approved venue campaign, making business demand part of the same economic loop used by players.

Direct B2B

Contract with NFTerra

Use an agreed business contract and invoice for a managed campaign. Final pricing, tax, conversion, refund, and accounting rules remain to be defined.

From application to foot traffic

A controlled route from a real address to a live map destination.

The business chooses its objective, approved effect, area, hours, and budget. NFTerra verifies the venue and publishes the disclosed campaign; the game server resolves all participation and rewards.

  1. 01

    Verify

Confirm the business, venue authority, real address, category, operating status, and responsible contacts.

  2. 02

    Design

Select the campaign goal, approved content, hours, geofence, audience, cooldown, capacity, and disclosures.

  3. 03

    Review

Check economy impact, safety, accessibility, age restrictions, legal requirements, and abuse risk.

  4. 04

    Publish

The Sponsored Hotspot becomes visible on the map with its active hours, disclosures, and player opportunity.

  5. 05

    Drive visits

The game validates safe presence and eligible play, enforces limits, resolves outcomes, and monitors anomalies.

  6. 06

    Measure

Provide privacy-thresholded visit and engagement results, then pause, revise, repeat, or end the campaign.

Campaign options

Give players a worthwhile reason to make the trip.

Partners fund approved opportunities—not guaranteed individual rewards. Eligibility, randomization, supply, cooldowns, player limits, and economy effects remain server-controlled.

Experience

Earn XP faster here

A timed boost could multiply experience earned from valid play in the approved area. It never grants completed XP, skill points, or mastery by purchase.

Loot

Better drop opportunities

A campaign could improve an approved reward table or item-base opportunity. The server still rolls each outcome; the business cannot create or assign items.

Encounters

Rare enemies or bosses

A scheduled location-bound threat could turn the venue into a social destination with a distinct challenge and controlled rewards.

Utility & events

Healing, resources, or objectives

Recovery wells, material opportunities, crafting bonuses, quests, and timed gatherings could support repeat visits without direct item issuance.

What a partner could request.

  • Map presence and brand-safe venue information
  • Campaign objective, approved effect, and theme
  • Preferred operating hours, area, and duration
  • Budget and supported funding route
  • Venue capacity and accessibility details
  • Privacy-thresholded visit and engagement reporting

What a partner could never do.

  • Create a drop, NFT, boss, or boost directly
  • Choose individual winners or item statistics
  • See identities or exact player movement
  • Bypass cooldown, supply, age, or economy controls
  • Require a purchase by default for eligibility
  • Operate content after closure, withdrawal, or emergency pause

Venue and player safety

Popular location content needs real-world safety controls.

Capacity, closure, queueing, accessibility, trespass, traffic, harassment, spoofing, and emergency response need to be designed before a campaign is sold.

Geofence

Bounded and plausible

Eligibility would use a safe playable area, dwell rules, cooldowns, and anti-spoofing rather than one precise point.

Capacity

Limits and closure

Campaigns could throttle, queue, pause, or stop when a venue is full, closed, inaccessible, withdrawn, or unsafe.

Disclosure

Sponsorship is visible

Players would be told when content is sponsored and what conditions affect participation or rewards.

Privacy

Aggregate reporting

Partners would receive only approved reporting above re-identification thresholds, not individual location trails.

Categories

Restricted venues

Alcohol, gambling, adult, medical, financial, political, and other regulated categories require separate rules or exclusion.

Response

Immediate pause

Operations would need a fast path to disable content, halt rewards, investigate abuse, and communicate incidents.

Still to be decided.

  • Campaign packages, price, term, renewal, and refunds
  • Token-budget settlement, direct B2B payment, conversion, tax, and accounting rules
  • Managed versus self-service onboarding
  • Approved and prohibited business categories
  • Geofence, dwell, capacity, and cooldown rules
  • Reward catalogue and supply funding
  • Purchase requirements or proof of purchase
  • Attribution, analytics methodology, and privacy thresholds
  • Insurance, incidents, and contractual responsibility

For future location partners

Put your venue on the future game map.

The programme is not open for self-service sign-up, but NFTerra is collecting serious partnership interest from businesses that want to turn game activity into safe, measurable real-world visits.
